Deist Industries Announces Sponsorship of 2009 NASCAR Truck Series Team
HADLEY, PENNSYLVANIA — Deist Industries, Inc., the Pennsylvania manufacturer of the Switch-N-Go™ detachable truck body system, the AmeriDeck™ hydraulic loading system for pick-up trucks, and Buck’s™ Fabricating roll-off containers, has announced its associate sponsorship of Herd Racing’s #75 Ford F-150 truck, which plans to compete in the 2009 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (currently known as the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series). Deist executives, the president of Herd Racing, and the team’s driver appeared at a press conference in conjunction with the Green Industry and Equipment (GIE) Expo at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville on Friday, October 24 to make the announcement.
The truck series, which is renowned for competitive racing, is of particular interest to Deist, given its products’ applications for medium and full-size pick-up trucks. “Everything we do is about making your truck the hardest working machine that you own! Our unique, interchangeable truck body system (Switch-N-Go™) and progressive loading system (AmeriDeck™) appeal to professional truck owners and enthusiasts who need productivity, efficiency, and safety. In today’s economy, business owners need cost-savings, and this is what we deliver,” states Dale Deist, the company’s president.
Matt Wilson, the company’s General Manager, is excited about building the company’s brands through a NASCAR race team. “This partnership with Herd Racing will allow our Switch-N-Go™, AmeriDeck™, and Buck’s™ product lines to reach serious truck and business owners who need their trucks to be workhorses. In a challenging economic climate, our dealers and distributors will also appreciate the opportunity to take advantage of a new marketing platform. We’re excited about being a part of NASCAR, and look forward to the season.”
Another factor supporting the announcement was compatibility. “Herd Racing is an organization whose values perfectly complement those of Deist Industries,” states Jeff Parnell, the company’s Vice President – Sales & Marketing. “We are impressed with their passion, their integrity, and their commitment to build a team that will perform well both on and off the track. Their driver, Brett Rowe, loves to compete, and will represent our made-in-America products in a first-class manner.”
Team owner Dana Tomes shares the team’s enthusiasm about the Deist sponsorship. “For years, I’ve used Buck’s™ roll-off containers in some of my businesses, so this is a natural fit. When I began to learn more about Switch-N-Go™ and AmeriDeck™, I saw a natural tie-in between these products and race fans. While we are continuing our search for sponsorship, I am personally excited about bringing their message into new markets. Herd Racing looks forward to a great year for the #75 Ford F-150!”
Driver Brett Rowe echoes Tomes’ perspective. “My family owns a factory in West Virginia, so I appreciate the hard-working values that that the Deist family brings to our team. Their truck body systems are great productivity tools for this economy, and our fans will enjoy learning more about their capabilities. I am proud to showcase the hard work this company puts into every product.”
